Nothing clever to see here. What are your whines?

W/AW?? Albatross #2 phone call this afternoon. This is were hopefully we deal with Complication Man's actions in a wise way. I will be glad to get past the phone call.

W/AW?: Sweet feels better. Maybe? Or she's trying to tell me what I want to hear, so she doesn't have to go to the doctor. It's hard to keep up with her.

This week, I'm going to make progress on the remaining albatross, I swear.  My goal is to finish the last 2 pieces of this section in the next week.  Go team go!  [The rest of the team being feline, not expecting a lot of help...]

We have temporarily won the War on Ants, at least until the next rainstorm chugs through.

Several other little to-do projects lined up, to keep the momentum going on the new year's aspiration of clearing some of the clutter around here.

We finally have winter in our part of the world. There is a light snow this morning, making my little corner of the world look quite beautiful.

Slower Than Christmas Whining

I have it on good authority that Christmas will never come; alternatively, it will take forever to get here.

If you are a whining pixie that does not celebrate Christmas, I'm the tiniest bit jealous right now.

What are your whines? Bring 'em! Large or small, complex or simple, we'll take them all!

Catching up on sleep and becoming human after all the excitement of last week!

However, partial list of sad behind-ness for upcoming festivities:

• No cards out yet.
• No menu, nevermind shopping.
• Not much done on stockings, which I adore and do every year.
• No tree.  No decorations, except giant ornaments my husband hung in the front yard.
• Must line up junk person to haul off some of the excess furniture, so there is room for our own furniture and a tree.  Then must move furniture we're keeping.
•  No presents yet.  Only plan small ones, but still. 
•  No cleaning extravaganza yet. 

 Well, hey.  There are still 10 days, right?

Lazy Monday Whining

It's a quiet day around here. There are roughly ten gazillion things I could be doing today, but I need a day off more than I need to ___________ (insert holiday/cleaning activity here).

What's up with you???
